About
Shari Goldberg has been writing about the quieter aspects of literary texts since 2008. She has published essays on ghosts and the dispossessed, mourning and trauma. Her current work brings pain, illness, and disability in conversation with literature and art.
As associate professor of English at Franklin and Marshall College, Shari has studied inclusive pedagogy over the last decade. In 2024, she and a colleague launched +1 Pedagogy, a project that helps other professors make their classrooms more accessible and engaging.
Shari lives in Lancaster, PA, with her partner and their pack (two cats and a dog).
Inclusive Pedagogy
+1 Pedagogy is a project designed to create learning environments that are accessible and effective for all students, regardless of their individual differences. The idea is for professors to add one small practice to their pedagogy toolboxes each semester or each year.
